Q:
How can Conquest-Financial Canada give away free equipment when everyone else charges or leases equipment?

A:
Conquest-Financial Canada believes in establishing long term relationships with it's merchants by offering free equipment and high quality services, in much the same way the cell phone providers and satellite TV services do for their customers. Unlike many of our competitors who are only interested in making the quick dollar up front, Conquest-Financial Canada wants to be your long-term business partner and to do that we know we have to work harder than our competitors to earn your continued business. We consider providing you with free equipment as an investment in our future.

Q:
Why do I need a merchant account?

A:
If you own any type of business and want to accept payments through credit cards, you need to set up a merchant account for processing.

Q:
Do I have to change banks?

A:
No, Conquest-Financial Canada will process the same merchant numbers and debit you use now, and will deposit your sales earnings into your current accounts.

Q:
Do I have to rent the terminal like I do with the bank?

A:
No, if each terminal that you have at your location site processes 200 to 500 transactions monthly, Conquest-Financial Canada will give you as many wireless/counter-top POS terminals that you need free of charge.

Q:
What are the benefits of setting up a merchant account?

A:
Accepting credit cards / debit cards can increase your sales potential by 15 million customers in Canada . Three out of four people use credit cards for their online purchases. And credit and debit card acceptance is one of the best ways to improve average balances and profitability.

Q:
How can I be sure I'm getting the best deal?

A:
Here are two simple points of comparison. First, ask different processors to show you their schedules, including all fees and the discount rates you will be charged. Then, ask them what kind of support and customer service they provide. These two factors will go a long way toward helping you decide which processor is best for you.

Q:
I am not happy with the service from my current provider. Is it possible to switch to Conquest-Financial Canada ?

A:
Of course you can switch. Poor service is often the key factor in deciding to leave or not sign up with a merchant account provider. If you're ready to make a move, we'll ensure that the switch is easy and seamless, executed with a minimum of downtime. Fill out an online form . We'll send you a free informational packet about setting up your merchant account. After you've reviewed the information, a Conquest-Financial Canada sales agent will assist you in filling out our simple application.

Q:
If I switch, will I need new equipment?

A:
Usually not. We can reprogram most terminal types and software to work with our solutions. If you don't currently have a terminal, we offer our full line of LIPMAN products absolutely free to you, the merchant, if you are currently processing 200 to 500 transactions each month.

Q:

Q:
When are monthly statements mailed?

A:

Q:
How is the bankcard industry structured, and where does Conquest-Financial Canada fit in?

A:
The bankcard industry has two sides: the card-issuing side, and the merchant processing (or "acquiring") side. Conquest-Financial Canada is on the processing side, in which member banks, their registered agents and other registered third parties make it possible for merchants to accept credit cards. The various functions include sales, service, "front-end" processing (providing merchants with the means to authorize, capture and submit data), and "back-end" processing (which includes settlement of funds and bookkeeping). Conquest-Financial Canada also assists merchants by providing superior technical support and customer service.

Q:
What exactly are MasterCard and Visa?

A:
MasterCard and Visa are associations of member banks. The associations set the rules and regulations under which member banks and their agents must operate. They also develop, promote and manage the MasterCard and Visa brands, and operate the systems through which member banks clear and settle transactions.
